The local areas

The Manor House was built circa 1811 and is the home of Dawlish Town Council. The fine Georgian building provides a tranquil oasis in the centre of Dawlish with the stunning back drop of the Manor Gardens.

Rooms are available for private hire. Many local groups use the Manor House for their regular meetings and office space can be hired by the day or for long periods of time. Numerous classes are run on a weekly basis including Yoga, Dancing Keep Fit and Zumba. As a licensed premises we are a popular venue to hire for family parties and other events.

We are also licensed to hold civil ceremonies and are able to offer a variety of different sized rooms to suit the style of any wedding. The Council Chamber, formerly the ballroom, and the Mayor’s Parlour provide a traditional setting for ceremonies and receptions. The porch and foyer are a unique location and the upstairs rooms offer some truly spectacular views over the gardens.
